BenQ has recently unveiled the HT3560, their latest offering in the best home theatre 4K projector segment, aiming to impress users with its exceptional color display. The manufacturer also highlights its support for HDR playback.

The HT3560 is a smart home cinema projector primarily targeted toward private customers looking to create their home theatre setup. BenQ aims to provide impressive image quality while ensuring that installation remains accessible for individuals.

Boasting a native resolution of 3,840 x 2,160 pixels, the HT3560 stands as the best home theatre 4K projector. This native resolution eliminates the need for pixel shifting. BenQ claims a brightness rating of 2,220 ANSI lumens. In SmartEco mode, the light source is expected to last 15,000 hours, while in normal operating mode, the lifespan is reduced to 4,000 hours.

The smart home cinema projector features a zoom capability, offering a projection ratio ranging from 1.13 to 1.47. At a distance of 3 to 3.9 meters, users can project a screen size ranging from 100 to 120 inches. With a supported vertical lens shift of 10 percent, the setup becomes more convenient. The HT projector also provides trapezoidal correction, further enhancing installation flexibility. BenQ offers a comprehensive calculator to assist users in planning their setup.

BenQ claims that the projector covers 95 percent of the DCI-P3 color space as well as the Rec. 709 color space. The input lag for 1080p content at 240 Hz is estimated at 8.7 milliseconds, while 4K content playback is achieved with a delay of nearly 18 milliseconds.

Multiple HDMI and USB inputs, along with an RS232 port, are available for connectivity. Built-in speakers are included. However, it is worth noting that playing media without an external player, such as an installed Android TV system, is not supported.
