Bang & Olufsen unveils Beosound Level Multiroom Portable WiFi Speaker

The Bang & Olufsen products catalog has been expanded with the launch of the Beosound Level multiroom wireless portable speaker. A feature of the premium WiFi speaker is the ability to be placed on the wall both inside and outside the room. Also, the unit received a capacious battery, an advanced set of B&O sound system, and protection from water and dust.

Bang & Olufsen Beosound Level is positioned as a WiFi speaker system that provides the ability to connect to a signal source both directly via Wi-Fi and Bluetooth and using Apple AirPlay 2, Google Chromecast, or Spotify Connect protocols. From the hardware connectors, there are optical and line inputs, as well as an Ethernet network port.

There are five Bang and Olufsen speakers inside the column: two subwoofers, a pair of a tweeter, and a universal “all-frequency”. One of the main advantages of Beosound Level, the company representatives call a modular design, thanks to which easy repair is possible in the event of a breakdown. The portable speaker has received the protective case according to the IP54 standard.

The Bang and Olufsen sound system column can be easily mounted on the wall, while the manufacturer has provided the possibility of rotating the base 180 or 360 degrees. There is a battery inside the device, one charge is enough for 16 hours of continuous playback. The control elements are touch buttons mounted in a metal frame. To charge the battery, the panel is equipped with a magnetic power supply unit.

The cost of the new Bang & Olufsen Portable Speaker is $1,499 on Amazon.com for the Natural Aluminum/Dark Grey version, and the modification in a Gold case will cost $2,299. The wall mount will be sold as a separate accessory for $149.
