With UF8, SSL (Solid State Logic) introduces another device that is primarily intended for smaller studios. An advanced DAW controller is not only interesting for music production and mixing, but also for post-production or pod, web, and broadcasting. The hardware offers eight tracks that you can access directly. These are equipped with touch-sensitive 100 mm faders, each has an endless controller and high-resolution color displays. In this way, you can always see the most important information for the corresponding track on the displays.
The so-called channel encoder on the right side of the device performs various tasks. Mouse Scroll Emulation is a function with which you can control exactly the parameters where the mouse pointer is currently located.
Up to four UF8 can be linked to a surface with a total of 32 channels. As a little bonus, SSL includes the two plug-ins Vocalstrip 2 and Drumstrip.
