Asus PA32UCXR 32-inch 4K Mini-LED ultra-high-definition professional display

Asus has officially unveiled the ProArt Display PA32UCXR, providing comprehensive technical details. Creative professionals designed this 32″ 4K Mini-LED ultra-high-definition professional display. It features an IPS panel with a resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels, 2304 mini-LED zones, DisplayHDR-1400 certification, and Dolby Vision support.

The specifications include a 60 Hz refresh rate, a peak brightness of 1600 cd/m², a 10-bit color depth, a 5 ms response time (gray to gray), and a contrast ratio of 1,000,000:1. In terms of color space coverage, the Asus PA32UCXR offers 100 percent sRGB, 99 percent Adobe RGB, 97 percent DCI-P3, and 85 percent Rec. 2020, promising a delta E value of less than 1.

Users can choose from various presets such as “Native,” “Adobe RGB,” “Dolby Vision,” and “HDR_PQ.” The screen includes a motorized colorimeter for automatic calibration. It is Calman-verified. Adaptive Sync is available for tear-free gaming, and the display features two 3-watt speakers, the ProArt Color Center online tool, and both picture-in-picture and picture-by-picture modes.

The interface selection is extensive, including two Thunderbolt 4 ports (with daisy-chaining and 90-watt PD), one DisplayPort 1.4, two HDMI 2.0 inputs, a USB 3.2 hub (Gen 2), a headphone output, and a classic USB-C port (3.2 Gen 2).

The display offers a range of ergonomic options, including tilt, rotation, height adjustment, Pivot, VESA mounting (100 x 100 mm), blue light filtering, and flicker-free backlight. The display includes sensors for ambient brightness and person detection. It also has an anti-glare hood. The typical power consumption of the 32-inch display is around 46 watts.

Price and release date

Initially scheduled for the 3rd quarter of 2023 and later postponed to 2024, the Asus ProArt PA32UCXR is currently listed on Amazon.com for $3,199 with a “Temporarily out of stock” notification at the time of writing. Like all ProArt displays, this 32-inch 4K Mini-LED ultra-high-definition professional display comes with a three-year warranty.
