ASUS Fonepad 7 FE171CG tablet with 3G Dual SIM Slot Launched at CES 2015

Following Smartphone devices Zenfone 2 and Zenfone Zoom, the Taiwanese company Asus also announced a new 7-inch tablet Asus Fonepad 7 – FE171CG at CES 2015. This new Fonepad 7 – FE171CG is a new variant of Fonepad 7 -FE170CG launched last year.

Taking advantage of the CES 2015, Asus announced this Fonepad 7 with special feature is that it can be used as a phone. The device, which boasts a voice communication has already been added to the catalog to the official website of the manufacturer, but the price of new tablet and its release date were not disclosed yet.

Asus Fonepad 7 – FE171CG is comes with Dual SIM card slots (GSM + GSM) and running the Android 4.4 KitKat operating system with an Asus ZenUI interface. 7-inch IPS display tablet has a WSVGA resolution of 1024×600 pixels and the coating to prevent stains from fingers. It has internal memory of 8 or 16 GB, but Asus is also ready to offer 5 GB of space in the Asus Webstorage.

The Asus Fonepad 7 – FE171CG tablet is based on the Intel Atom Z2520 processor, 1.2GHz dual-core CPU, 1MB cache and PowerVR SGX544 graphics accelerator. Depending on the region, the tablet may have two RAM options like 1GB or 2GB. There are 8 megapixel rear and a 5 megapixel front camera, as well as the dimensions of the device are 110.6x196x7.9 mm and weight only 280 grams.

In terms of connectivity, includes Wi-Fi 802.11 b / g / n, Bluetooth, 2G, 3G HSPA and GPS / A-GPS, Micro-USB etc. The battery capacity of 3950mAh, can provide up to 34 hours of talk time on 3G networks.
