AstrHori is now offering the 25mm F2.8 Macro 2.0-5.0X full-frame lens for Sony E, Nikon Z, Fujifilm X, Canon RF, and L-mount cameras.
This lens is specifically designed for macro photography, with a magnification range of 2:1–5:1. It excels at capturing both larger images and close-up details.
With a magnification of 2X-5X and a working distance of 37.5mm-45mm, this ultra macro lens makes it easier for photographers to set up the scene and lighting for close-up shots, revealing the intricacies of the tiny world.
It features an optical system of 10 elements in 7 groups, including 2 high-refractive index elements and 2 ED elements. It allows us to observe even the finest details with clarity and impact, surpassing what our eyes can perceive.
At the same magnification, the 25mm focal length provides a greater depth of field range compared to other similar macro lenses. This reduces the need for multiple photos for depth-of-field synthesis, resulting in cost and post-production workload savings.
With a maximum aperture of f/2.8 and 8 aperture blades, this lens performs exceptionally well in various lighting conditions and produces pleasing bokeh effects. Please note that this lens only has a magnification ring and no focus ring.
