ASRock is shaking up the GPU market with its new offering, the Intel Arc A770 Phantom Gaming. Intel’s Arc A770 Limited Edition 16 GB has been discontinued, leaving only a few higher-priced alternatives like the Acer BiFrost OC. But ASRock steps in with the ASRock A770 16GB Phantom Gaming, a more affordable option boasting 16 GB of graphics memory.

Compared to Nvidia and AMD’s cheapest 16 GB gaming graphics cards – the GeForce RTX 4060 Ti at $500 and the AMD Radeon RX 6800 starting at $450 – ASRock’s A770 Phantom Gaming comes in over $150 cheaper. With a memory clock of 17.5 Gbps and a 256-bit interface, the ASRock A770 16GB Phantom Gaming outperforms most similarly priced competitors in terms of memory bandwidth. The GPU clock rates can reach up to 2.2 GHz, 4.7 percent higher than Intel’s reference model.

Drawing a maximum of 225 watts, the ASRock graphics card requires power from two 8-pin connectors. Its connectivity includes three DisplayPort 2.0 ports and one HDMI 2.1 port, officially supporting 8K monitors. Additionally, the three fans remain silent during idle or low-load scenarios, keeping the overall experience quiet and unobtrusive.

ASRock Phantom Gaming Intel Arc A770 price and release date

The ASRock Phantom Gaming Intel Arc A770 16 GB is already available for pre-order on Newegg.com for an appealing price of $329.99.

On the other hand, Acer recently unveiled the AMD-based Predator BiFrost RX 7600, a stylish option featuring a steam chamber and full metal fan. Though its price starts at $289.99, this places it higher than some other Radeon RX 7600 alternatives in the market.
