AOC Agon 27G2SPU gaming monitor with 165 Hz, USB 3.2 hub, 1ms

AOC has expanded its popular Agon G2 gaming monitor series with the new Agon 27G2SPU with a faster IPS panel. The AOC USB monitor offers a rapid refresh rate of 165 Hz and integrates a USB 3.2 hub.

AOC presented a 165 Hz refresh rate successor called the Agon 27G2SPU gaming monitor. The new and ergonomic AOC USB monitor can be optimally positioned in terms of height, tilt and swivel range according to the individual requirements of the gamers.

The new AOC 27G2SPU gaming monitor of the Agon G2-SP series features a slim 3-sided frameless design that allows seamless integration into large multi-monitor setups. The AOC gaming monitor also has an integrated 4-port USB hub (4x USB 3.2) for the direct connection of keyboards and mice, as well as two 2-watt speakers each.

AOC installs fast IPS panel with a Full HD resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels, which creates a refresh rate of 165 Hz. In addition, a response time of 1 millisecond (MPRT) and Adaptive Sync support on AOC’s Agon displays should effectively prevent ghosting, image stuttering, and tearing.

Agon 27G2SPU has game-specific settings such as “Game Color” to adjust the color saturation, “Dial Point” as a crosshair overlay for precise aiming, a low-blue mode for longer Game sessions at night, and three game modes for different genres like FPS, RTS, Racing and three custom modes. Fine-tuning of the monitor details is possible via the new OSD software G-Menu.
