The brightness is a maximum of 400 cd/m² and the only indication of the response time is an MPRT value (“Moving Picture Response Time”) of 1 ms, which, in contrast to the gray-to-gray change, has little significance.

Other new features include 10-bit color depth ( 8-bit + FRC ), two 2-watt internal speakers, and 95 percent coverage of the DCI-P3 color space. The Acer 27 inch monitor also has two HDMI 2.0 inputs, a DisplayPort 1.2, and a headphone output. FreeSync is used to prevent tearing in games. The screen can only be tilted or mounted on a wall or swivel arm via a VESA mount (100 x 100 mm).

Price and availability

The Acer Nitro VG271U Mbmiipx is listed by the Amazon.co.uk store for £259.99.
