The Aspire 14 2024 features a discreet design with a slanted Aspire logo, blending seamlessly into various notebook styles. However, its competitive pricing and robust features set it apart. The rather unassuming casing houses a gray backlit keyboard and a widescreen with slender edges.
Acer offers the Aspire 14 2024 with either an Intel Core 5 120U or an Intel Core 7 150U processor, with no “Ultra” add-on. It utilizes the newer ‘Raptor Lake’ chips, not the older Meteor Lake. Each chip contains two high-performance cores, eight efficiency cores, and an integrated Intel Iris Xe Graphics G7. The 14-inch IPS screen boasts a 16:10 aspect ratio with a resolution of 1,920 x 1,200 pixels. RAM capacity reaches up to 16GB LPDDR5, while storage peaks with a 1TB PCIe 4.0 SSD.

Charging is easy with a 65-watt traditional barrel plug power supply or via the single USB-C port on the left side. Other connectivity options include two USB-A ports, supporting data speeds up to 5 Gbit/s, an HDMI port, and a 3.5 mm headphone jack. Weighing 1.5 kilograms, the laptop also accommodates Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.1.
