MSI Optix MAG281URF monitor gets 4K display with 144 Hz refresh rate

MSI has expanded its range of 4K Ultra HD monitors with the Optix MAG281URF, which is designed for gaming desktop applications. This 4K ultrawide monitor has a 27.9-inch Rapid IPS panel.

The panel has a resolution of 3840 × 2160 pixels (4K format) with an aspect ratio of 16: 9. The GTG has a 1ms response time and a refresh rate of 144Hz.

We are talking about the VESA HDR Display 400 certification: the peak brightness is 400 cd/m2. Typical contrast is 1000: 1, and dynamic contrast is 100,000,000: 1. Viewing angles horizontally and vertically – up to 178 degrees.

The new 28 inch monitor claims 95 percent coverage of the DCI-P3 color space and 124 percent coverage of the sRGB color space. Compatibility with G-SYNC technology mentioned, which is responsible for improving the smoothness of the gameplay.

The 4K computer monitor includes a Display Port 1.4a connector, two HDMI 2.1 connectors, a USB Type-C port, and a USB 2.0 hub. The stand provides a full range of adjustments: changing the height, tilt, and rotation of the screen, as well as its conversion from landscape to portrait.

The Night Vision function helps to improve the visibility of dark areas of the image. Less Blue Light Premium technology is responsible for reducing eye strain.
