ZTE Axon 7 Mini Reportedly Receiving Android 7.1.1 Nougat Update

As promised by ZTE, previously Axon 7 has got an Android 7.1.1 update, and now the ZTE Axon 7 Mini is reportedly getting Android 7.1.1 Nougat update via an over-the-air (OTA) update. In addition, it also brings a support for T-Mobile Wi-Fi Calling.

According to the android central, the Android 7.1.1 Nougat update reportedly improves performance and fixes bugs, and adds all of Nougat’s existing features, including multi-window and support for in-line notification replies and more. It’s also added new emojis and support for round icons and app shortcuts, among other things as well as support for T-Mobile Wi-Fi Calling.

To recall, ZTE has unveiled the Axon 7 Mini smartphone at IFA 2016, priced at $329, which is currently available to buy at a discounted price of only $199.98 only on the Amazon store. The ZTE Axon 7 Mini features an aluminum alloy uni-body design, a fingerprint sensor, a 5.2-inch Super AMOLED display with Full HD resolution; 2.5D curved edge glass and is powered by a 1.5 GHz Octa-core 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 processor with Adreno 405 GPU.

It has 3GB of RAM and 32GB of inbuilt storage which can be expanded via microSD card up to 128GB. A16-megapixel rear autofocus camera sensor with f/1.9 aperture, Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), Phase Detection Auto Focus (PDAF), and dual LED flash. There is an 8-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.2 aperture and 88-degree wide-angle lens. It packs a 2705mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0 that is claimed to charge the device from 0-50% in just 30 minutes.
