Wooden Camera introduces Accessories for FX9 Sony Camcorder

The Wooden Camera is a popular brand that manufactures various camera accessories has now introduced wide range accessory kits for the new FX9 6K full-frame Sony Camcorder which was announced back on September 13, 2019, and it is already available to pre-order via Bhphotovideo store and shipping will begin from Monday 30, December. So, Wooden Camera has introduced the various accessory kits for the Sony FX9:

Base Kit

The basic kit includes a unified base plate to which 15 mm rods are attached. A special cheese top plate covers the entire top of the FX9 Sony Sony Camcorder body.

The top handle V2 is attached to cheese plates, offering a single horizontal rod receiver for mounting accessories, as well as the front, side, and top threads.

The base kit also includes two 12’ 15mm rods. It can be pre-ordered through Bhphotovideo.com for $1,038.

Advanced Kit

An expanded set of accessories for the Sony camcorder also includes a special foot that allows you to safely disconnect the camera from the base plate. Also included is a quick-release latch for the top handle.

Pro Kit

This kit consists of the same accessories as the Advanced version but includes a mount for the UVF viewfinder. It is installed using a special “rod” and allows you to position the viewfinder in various positions. The operator also has the ability to quickly change them, according to the manufacturer.

Battery Slide

The company has also released a new sliding battery plate that attaches directly to the back of the camera.

The Sony FX9 has a new sensor called EXMOR R. It has a dual base ISO – 800 and 4000 ISO, it has the same codecs as the Sony FS7 in 10-bit 4: 2: 2 format with a resolution of up to 6K. There will again be an additional extension module, this time called XDCA-FX9, which will add RAW output with color depths up to 16-bit. The XDCA also now has a D-Tap, 4-pin Hirose DC, Ethernet, and DWX type audio jack.
