The Dreame X30 Ultra is the third new vacuum and mop robot combo that Dreame has launched recently. As the most affordable flagship model, it lacks some features, like the extendable side brush.
Dreame has officially introduced three exciting and well-equipped vacuum robots with wiping functions. The lineup includes the flagship Dreame X40 Ultra Complete and the Dreame X40 Master with a compact, fixed-water-installation station.
The combo also includes LiDAR, an AI RGB camera, and structured 3D light for navigation and obstacle avoidance. However, while the 8,300 Pa suction power is significantly lower than the 12,000 Pa offered by the two X40 models, it remains at a very high level.
In addition, Dreame does without one of the innovations of the top models in the X30 Ultra. The X30 Ultra doesn’t come with the extendable and liftable side brush, so it can’t clean corners quite as thoroughly. Here, users can also lift the main brush, and the Dreame X30 Ultra offers the MopExtend RoboSwing, featuring a laterally extendable mop and the option for mop removal at the station.
Additionally, the more affordable model can navigate obstacles up to 20 mm high, slightly less than the 22 mm capability of other versions. The advanced cleaning station, which can be upgraded to a fixed water system, utilizes water heated to 60 °C, not 70 °C, for cleansing the mopping unit. While the differences are minor, the potential savings of $100 is relatively modest when measured against the overall cost.
