Thermaltake launches its first gaming monitors with 2K displays

Thermaltake, a Taiwanese company renowned for its PC cases, power supplies, and CPU cooling solutions, is diversifying into the gaming monitor sector with the introduction of two new models: TGM-I27FQ (27-inch) and TGM-V32CQ (31.5-inch). These Thermaltake monitor models, priced under $340, feature rear RGB lighting for a vibrant aesthetic.

The TGM-I27FQ sports a flat IPS panel boasting WQHD resolution (2560 x 1440 pixels), delivering a maximum refresh rate of 165 Hz and a rapid 1 ms gray-to-gray response time. It offers a contrast ratio of 1000:1, a typical luminance of 400 cd/m², 10-bit color depth (8-bit + FRC), and 95 percent DCI-P3 coverage.

On the other hand, the TGM-V32CQ features a curved VA panel that handles the same WQHD resolution at up to 170 Hz. It ensures deep black levels with its 3000:1 contrast ratio and maintains a response time of 4 ms (gray to gray). The DCI-P3 coverage is rated at 90 percent.
