The Tamron 15-30mm f/2.8 Di VC USD is a wide-angle zoom lens for versatile landscape photography. The Tamron 15-30mm f/2.8 Di VC USD lens with the world’s first F/2.8 ultra-wide-angle zoom lens with image stabilization. The result is a lens able to capture sharp images even when shooting handheld under low light conditions. Lens has an aperture f/2.8, with integrated VC mechanism (Vibration Control) in first ultra wide zoom lens line from a 15mm platform for full-frame sensor.
This Tamron lens has a special feature called XGM (Expanded Glass Molded Aspherical) lens element that effectively controls aberrations and enhances sharpness.
The Tamron’s eBAND (Extended Bandwidth & Angular-Dependency) Coating suppresses tangential reflections, while a new generation of BBAR (Broad-Band Anti-Reflection) Coating has been optimized for ultra-wide angles of view.
This lens with quiet high-torque USD (Ultrasonic Silent Drive) motor ensures autofocusing with precision. The lens with an integrated hood features a unique Tamron zoom-linked double-hood design which is shock-resistant such as drops of fall. It is designed to minimize damage to the lens.
