Thermaltake Pacific MX1 Plus CPU Water Block With Thermaltake RGB Software

Thermaltake has unveiled a DIY CPU water block called the Pacific MX1 Plus with Thermaltake RGB software. The base of the water block is made of copper and nickel-plated. The plane adjacent to the processor cover is polished to a mirror finish, and on the inner side, in this place, an array of ribs 0.15 mm thick with microchannels between them is formed.

The holes for connecting the water block are on the top and are oriented vertically. The top of the CPU water block is acrylic. It is adorned with ARGB lighting designed to be plugged in a standard 3-pin connector. A feature of the water block is the presence of a temperature sensor. It connects using a 2-pin connector.

The Pacific MX1 Plus features a built-in temperature sensor that will pick up the temperature from the passing coolant and transmits the signal to the Thermaltake RGB software, this allows users to monitor current temperature immediately whilst controlling its addressable LEDs for color editing.

The water block is compatible with AMD and Intel processors: Intel LGA 2066/2011-3/2011/1366/1200/1156/1155/1151/1150/775; and AMD AM4/FM2/FM1/AM3+/AM3/AM2+/AM2. With dimensions of 93.4 x 93.4 x 52.2 mm, it weighs about 670 g.

Thermaltake Pacific MX1 Plus CPU water block has been priced at $119.99 and is now available to buy on the Amazon.com website.

Recently, Corsair has also introduced the Hydro XC5 RGB CPU water block which is offered in versions for Intel LGA 115x / 1200 and AMD AM4 processors. It also has a copper base, the lid is made of opaque plastic, the illumination light is diffused by a curly transparent insert. The backlighting effect is made on 16 LEDs, but they are not addressed individually, but in pairs, being combined into 8 zones, priced at $59.99 only.
