Oppo F3 Plus has been officially launched in India. It is front dual camera smartphone from the company with 16MP + 8MP dual camera sensors. The Oppo F3 Plus price in India is set to Rs. 30, 990 – approximately $473 and it can be pre-ordered via Amazon India online e-commerce stores in Black and Gold color options.
As mentioned above, the main highlight of the device is its dual selfie camera system including one 16-megapixel 1/3.1-inch front-facing camera sensor with an f/2.0 aperture, a 76.4-degree wide-angle lens and another 8-megapixel sensor with 120-degree wide-angle lens. Combining both sensors allows us 105-degree field-of-view to capture larger group selfies. There is a 16-megapixel primary camera with Sony IMX398 sensor with f/1.7 aperture, and dual phase-detection auto-focus (PDAF) technology.
For selfie, you can choose which lens you want to use, and, the device comes with a Smart Facial Recognition feature that Oppo says automatically suggests which lens is ideal. The smartphone comes with various camera features, including the Beautify 4.0 app, Selfie Panorama, Screen Flash, and Palm Shutter.
The Oppo F3 Plus features a larger 6.0-inch IPS LCD display alongside Full HD (1080 x 1920 pixels) resolution with 2.5D curved display and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection on top of it. The handset is powered by the 64-bit Snapdragon 653 octa-core processor is accompanies a faster clock rate of 1.95 GHz. It also comes with a fast and powerful Adreno 510 GPU along with 4GB of RAM which implies it will be more proficient for multitasking and 64GB of inbuilt storage which can be further expanded via microSD card up to 256GB.
The Oppo F3 Plus phone runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS with company’s own ColorOS 3.0 interface and packs a 4000mAh battery with VOOC Flash Charge tech that is claimed to deliver up to 2 hours of talk time in 5 minutes of charging. The device also bears a fingerprint sensor on the home button, said to unlock it in as little as 0.2 seconds. The company is touting fingerprint activated app and call shortcuts as well.
On the connectivity front, includes 4G VoLTE, 3G, WiFi 802.11a/b/g/n, GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS, Bluetooth 4.1 LE, Micro USB 2.0m OTG, and 3.5mm audio jack options. It measures 163.63 x 80.8 x 7.35 mm, and weighs 185 grams. The device also features aaccelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, magnetometer, and proximity sensor.
