The Oppo A57 smartphone, unveiled in China at the private media event back in November 2016, now goes official in India. Oppo A57 price in India is Rs. 14,990 – approximately $221, which is quite affordable and will be available exclusively via Amazon India online store. The new Oppo mobile phone has also been made available in the offline stores in Rose Gold and Gold color options. 
Main highlight of the Oppo A57 is camera features, it comes with a 16-megapixel rear camera with f/2.2 aperture, PDAF, and dual tone LED flash. It shoots Full HD 1080p videos at 30fps. For selfie, it has a 13-megapixel front-facing camera with wide f/2.0 aperture to capture wide group selfies and high quality video chatting.
For photography enthusiasts, there are lots of camera modes such as professional mode, color filters, GIF animation, time-lapse, ultimate beauty, double exposure, front views, bokeh, HDR, continuous shooting, and more. The device also comes equipped with a fingerprint sensor embedded in front Home button that can unlock the device as well as apps.
Display is 5.2-inches IPS LCD panel with HD (720 x 1280 pixels) resolution along side a pixel density of 282ppi, 16m colors and 2.5D curved glass layer on top of it. It has 5.63 mm narrow border, 63.48 screen-to-body ratio, and 450cd / m2 brightness. Oppo A57 is powered by a 1.4 GHz octa-core processor that’s fueled by 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 (MSM8940) chipset paired with Adreno 505 GPU. The device packs in 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory which is expandable up to 128GB with the help of microSD card slot. 
The A57 runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with ColorOS 3.0 UI on top. It packs a 2900mAh battery that is rated to deliver up to 24 hours and standby time of around 12 days. For connectivity, includes 4G LTE, 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, A-GPS, Bluetooth 4.1 LE, USB 2.0, 3.5 mm audio jack and FM Radio. It measures 149.1 x 72.9 x 7.65mm and weighs 147 grams.
