Nextbit Robin Price in USA Down to $199 for 24 Hours

Amazon US on Thursday has announced that it has reduced the price of Nextbit Robin cloud-based smartphone for only 24 hours and now the handset is available at $199, down $200 from the launch price. 

To refresh, the cloud-based smartphone was initially unveiled last year and Nextbit Robin price in USA was $399. However, back in June Nextbit itself has reduced the price of its handset down $299 globally. The Nextbit Robin is a Cloud based smartphone that was coming out first from a fundraising project on Kickstarter.

For Nextbit Robin Specs; it features a 5.2-inch IPS display with Full HD (1080×1920 pixels) resolution and screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 4. This Cloud Phone is powered by Qualcomm’s hexa-core Snapdragon 808 processor clubbed with 3GB of RAM, and 32GB of native storage without microSD card slot.

Nextbit Robin Cell Phone packs in 32GB of native memory and 100GB online storage hosted on Cloud, Robin Cloud Phone runs latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow but its software has more innovative features such as automatically synchronize all phone data with the Cloud, take backs up your apps and photos, archives the data you’re not using, and easily restores items when you need them. 

The handset will automatically Sync all the data on registered Cloud storage, when running out of space, it will automatically delete temporary files, apps or rarely used data (but still stored on the Cloud), to add more space in the device. When needed old app or files, you could easily download from Cloud. Users do not need to think what to remove or keep because Robin will observe and evaluate most used data, so it is easier for us what to keep or delete.

Talking on Nextbit Robin Camera, it features a 13-megapixel primary rear camera with dual tone LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera for selfie and video calling. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS and packs in a 2680mAh battery. For connectivity, includes 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, A-GPS, NFC, Bluetooth 4.0 and USB Type-C port.
