MSI GT80 Titan Hardcore Gaming Laptop with Brown Switch Mechanical Keyboard

Recently, the Taiwanese PC makers MSI has launches gaming series laptop called MSI GT80 Titan. This Latest Gaming Laptop powered by GTX 900 series graphics cards from Nvidia together multiple technologies to meet the needs of high-end gaming. GT80 Titan is the world’s first laptop, integrated MX Cherry switches mechanical keyboard made from SteelSeries and use two GTX 980 graphics cards in SLI mode.


The MSI GT80 Titan is gaming laptops highest level of MSI was first unveiled at CES 2015 this year. This is probably the most unique on the market as well as an MSI gaming laptop because GT80 Titan is the first model to be integrated MX Cherry mechanical keyboard Brown switches. Display & Design:

The MSI GT80 Titan is a heavy gaming laptop with a size of 456 x 331 x 49 mm, weighs about 4.5 kg. Instead of owning the screen size of 17 or 15.6 inches like many other gaming PCs, GT80 Titan uses screen 18.4-inch – a very large display, but the resolution is only Full HD 1920×1080 pixels. MSI has not provided a higher resolution option for GT80 Titan.


Like other forms of MSI laptop, the GT80 body is also made of aluminum. The lid is made of an aluminum plate with two strips hairline of red lights. In the middle it has a dragon logo with MSI logo. Just below the hump containing the hinge and two large heat-sink.

The interior of MSI GT80 Titan quite nice with a big gap on the right side of the screen. This area contains the hardware such as RAM, hard drives. SATA optical drive, HDD is covered by an aluminum plate with imprinted dragon logo. There is also a Dynaudio system speaker designed with tiny holes along the laptop. MSI has put all the hardware of the machine to the area to make way for big mechanical keyboard.

However, the design of the MSI GT80 Titan also some limitations. The first is to push down the laptop mechanical keyboard so no space for the hand.
