Micromax has introduced two new Selfie based Android smartphones called Micromax Canvas Selfie 2 (codename Q340) and Canvas Selfie 3 (codename Q348). Both the new Micromax Smartphones are not listed officially, but would be available at the end of the August, while there is no any detail on pricing.
The Micromax Canvas Selfie 2 runs the now-dated Android 5.0 Lollipop OS and offers dual-SIM support. The Selfie smartphone features a 5-inch IPS display with a FWVGA 480×854 pixel resolution.
A 1.3GHz dual-core processor (unknown SoC) powers the smartphone, with a 1GB of RAM. The Micromax Canvas Selfie 2 sports a 5-megapixel rear camera with autofoucs, LED flash, OV5648 sensor and 4P Largan Lens, while there is a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with same features as a primary camera.
The Micromax Canvas Selfie 2 comes with an 8GB of inbuilt storage, which can be expanded via microSD card. It supports 3G, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS/ A-GPS, and MicroUSB options. The smartphone is backed by a 2000mAh battery.
While the other hand, Micromax Canvas Selfie 3 is also Selfie-based device that runs latest Android 5.0 Lollipop OS. It features a 4.8-inch AMOLED IPS display with HD 720×1280 pixels resolution. A dual-core processor, clocked at 1.3GHz, with 1GB of RAM.
The smartphone features an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, autofocus, Blue Glasses and 5P Largan Lens and also comes with is an 8-megapixel front-facing camera with LED flash, Sony MX179 sensor and able to capture wide-angle selfies up to 78-degree. The camera also comes with a lot of inbuilt applications such as Gesture shot, Face Beauty, Panorama, Night Shot and One Key Shot.
The Micromax Canvas Selfie 3 comes with an 8GB built-in storage, and can be expanded via microSD card. Unfortunately, there is not 4G LTE connectivity, instead of 3G, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS/ A-GPS, and MicroUSB options. It bears a 2300mAh battery, which according to the Canvas Selfie 2 slightly higher.
Both the Micromax Selfie Mobile would be available in Blue, Green, Purple, Sky Blue and Yellow color variants.
