Meike 12mm T2.5 S35 Cine Lens Price and Releae date

Meike is expanding its cinema lens lineup with the announcement of the Meike 12mm T2.5 S35 Wide Angle Cine Lens, designed for PL and Canon EF mounts. This new addition will be the seventh in a set of optics, joining the 18mm T2.1, 25mm T2.1, 35mm T2.1, 50mm T2.1, 75mm T2.1, and 100mm T2.1 lenses.

Meike 12mm T2.5 S35 Cine Lens

The optical design of the 12mm T2.5 S35 consists of 10 groups and 17 elements, including 1 aspherical lens. The aperture range spans from T2.5 to T22, while the minimum focusing distance is 0.2 meters.

With a front filter thread diameter of 82mm and an image circle of 28.2mm, the lens has an outer diameter of 85mm. The focus ring can rotate 270 degrees, providing easy and precise focus adjustments during shooting. Weighing in at 880 grams, the lens measures PL: 85.5×103mm, EF: 85.5×111mm.

On cameras with S35 sensors, the Meike 12mm T2.5 S35 cinema lens offers a wide angle of view, covering 104.5° diagonally, 97.1° horizontally, and 61.1° vertically.
