MSI unveiled the MAG 274UPF gaming monitor during Computex 2023, providing gamers with a closer look at its specifications through an official product page. While initially marketed as a 4K display with a maximum refresh rate of 160 Hz, the updated details now indicate a slightly reduced refresh rate of up to 144 Hz.

Featuring a 27-inch IPS panel, the MAG274UPF boasts DisplayHDR 400 certification and an impressive 1 ms fast gray change. Its specifications include a peak brightness of 400 cd/m², a 1000:1 contrast ratio, and 10-bit color depth (8-bit + FRC), covering 129 percent sRGB, 97 percent DCI-P3, and 97 percent Adobe RGB. The monitor consumes an estimated 26 watts of power.

The MAG 274UPF supports G-Sync compatible Adaptive Sync technology, along with features like a black stabilizer, switchable crosshair overlay, and sniper zoom (Optix Scope). Its interface selection comprises two HDMI 2.1 inputs, a DisplayPort 1.4a (with DSC), a USB 2.0 hub, a headphone output, and USB-C with DisplayPort alternate mode and 65-watt PD.
