Lomography has announced a successful fundraising on Kickstarter and started to produce Petzval 58 Bokeh Control lens.
The Petzval 58 lens for the swirl Bokeh as the Helios lens, but this is the first lens in the world that allows users to adjust the Swirly Bokeh Technique with a special Bokeh Control Ring. In addition to the structure as a common lens, Petzval 58 also has a custom Bokeh ring is corresponding to 7 different levels swirl bokeh. The aperture of the lens is quite strange: a maximum aperture of f/1.9 and a minimum aperture of F/16.
The Petzval 58 lens without autofocus motor that use manual focus, Gear Rack Focusing Mechanism. The Petzval 58 lens retail price is $450, for Nikon F, Canon EF Mount and also compatible with other cameras such as the Fuji X-Pro 1, Sony A7 and Micro four/thirds Cameras with adapter mounts.
