LG has unveiled the StanbyME Go, a versatile mobile monitor and smart TV equipped with a touchscreen that conveniently comes in the form of a suitcase, making it easy to transport. According to LG, this portable monitor can be used in various ways, serving as a television during camping trips or even as a replacement for traditional board games.
Following the successful release of the StanbyME TV with a roll stand and battery last year, LG now presents another innovative portable solution. The LG StanbyME Go is a 27-inch monitor designed for on-the-go convenience.
The standout feature of this monitor is its ease of transport, thanks to its suitcase design. The briefcase not only ensures the monitor’s security during travel but also doubles as a stand. Simply unfold the 27-inch touchscreen monitor from the case, and it can be set up in landscape or portrait orientation. Additionally, the display can be used while still inside the case, creating a stylish appearance resembling a turntable or transforming it into a digital board game akin to a tablet.
The LG StanbyME Go is equipped with built-in speakers delivering 20 watts of power and Dolby Atmos support. To enhance portability, LG has integrated a battery that provides up to three hours of usage away from a power source.
Running on LG’s own WebOS, the same operating system found on the company’s smart TVs, the StanbyME Go allows users to easily install various streaming apps and more. It offers connectivity options such as HDMI and USB-A, as well as wireless transmission and screen mirroring capabilities, including AirPlay.

The new LG StanbyME Go is currently available for pre-order on Bhphotovideo.com for $1,296.99 and is expected to be released on July 31, 2023.
