Huawei MediaPad M2 with Octa-core Kirin 930 and 4G LTE Officially Launched

After the announcement of Huawei Mediapad X2 at the MWC 2015, many people did not hope to see the new tablet from a Chinese manufacturer this year. However, it turned out that the company has several other plans. Recently the Chinese manufacturer introduced the tablet called Huawei MediaPad M2 at the Store in Paris and now it’s officially available for users.

The Huawei MediaPad M2 tablet is available in Gold and Silver color versions in two variants like Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi + LTE. The latest model used 4G LTE Cat, providing data rates up to 150 Mbit/s.

The basis of the Huawei MediaPad M2 tablet serves its own platform – HiSilicon Kirin 930, within 64-bit Octa-core processor clocked at 2.0 GHz and Mali-T628 MP4 GPU. The MediaPad M2 has a screen size of 8 inches and resolution of 1920×1200 pixels with a pixel density of 400 ppi. The tablet is packed with a 2GB of RAM and the volume of built-in flash memory is 16GB which is further expandable via microSD card up to 128GB.

The equipment of the Huawei MediaPad M2 is worth noting the rear camera of 8-megapixels with LED flash and a 2-megapixels front-facing camera to take a batter selfie picture. The Table comes with a 4800 mAh battery capacity and runs on latest Android 5.0 operating system with Emotion UI 3.0 interface.

The tablet has a metal body and compact design with a thickness of 7.8 mm and weighs 310g. The Huawei MediaPad M2 price will fall around $311 for Wi-Fi and $389 for the LTE version.
