HP has introduced an unusual all in one computers running the Chrome OS operating system. The new HP desktop all in one has been named Chromebase AIO. It features a stand that allows you to change the position of the 21.5-touch screen from horizontal to vertical.
The HP Chromebase AIO screen has a resolution of 1920 × 1080 pixels. The manufacturer offers two processors for the HP desktop all in one to choose from – either Intel Pentium Gold or 10th generation Core i3. In the basic version of the HP all-in-one, the system includes 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of eMMC memory. Optionally, you can choose a model with 16 GB of RAM and a 256 GB SSD.
The new HP desktop computer is made of aluminum, it has a compact conical base design that offers a small footprint for any room. The elevated base offers improved airflow and helps protect from minor spills. The fabric-wrapped base is durable and kid-friendly, easily tolerating a gentle wipe with a damp cloth.
The new HP all in one computers has two built-in speakers with a power of 5 W, two USB Type-C and USB Type-A connectors, as well as one 3.5 mm audio jack. At the top of the screen are a 5-megapixel camera peephole and a microphone. Both elements can be disabled if desired. The package of the HP desktop all in one includes a wireless mouse and keyboard.
In addition to the ability to change the horizontal position of the screen to vertical and back, the stand also allows you to tilt the monoblock display back at an angle of up to 20 degrees.
Price and availability
The manufacturer estimated the HP Chromebase AIO in the basic configuration at $579.99. The HP all in one computers is already on sale in Amazon.com and Bestbuy.com online stores.
