Honor Play 8 With 5.71-inch HD+ Display, Helio A22 SoC, 3020mAh Battery Launched

Huawei has published the list of devices will get the latest Android Pie with EMUI 9.0 last month, now the Honor brand has released a new device called the Honor Play 8 in China. It is a budget handset comes with a 5.71-inch U-shaped notch display, 2GB RAM, Android 9 Pie Dual Rear Cameras and 3020mAh battery.

Honor Play 8 Price and Availability

The Honor Play 8 price in China has been set at CNY 599 – approximately $86 for the sole 2GB RAM with 32GB storage version. It is now on sale via the company’s Vmall store as well as other major e-retailers in China and comes in Aurora Blue and Midnight Black color options.

Honor Play 8 Specifications

The Honor Play 8 features a 5.71-inch waterdrop-style notch LCD display with HD+ (1520 × 720 pixels) resolution, 294ppi pixel per density and 84.6% screen-to-body ratio. It is powered by a quad-core MediaTek Helio A22 processor which supported by IMG GE8300 GPU. It packs a 2GB of RAM and 32GB of inbuilt storage which can be expanded via microSD card up to 512GB.

On the camera front, the Play 8 flaunts a 13-megapixel primary autofocus camera with an f/1.8 aperture, HDR, and an LED flash. For selfie, there is a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with an f/2.2 aperture and Face Unlock.

The device runs on Android 9.0 Pie -based on EMUI 9 out of the box. It packs a 3020mAh battery and supports dual SIM slot with dual standby. For connectivity includes 4G VoLTE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, GLONASS, Bluetooth 5.
