Honor Huawei brand has made official the Honor Band 5i – a new smartband that differs from the Honor Band 5 for some technical specifications and a different charging method.
When compared to the Huawei band 5 (and other competing fitness trackers like the Mi Band 4 – review), the Band 5i does not use a proprietary charging connector. To recharge it, simply plugging it into a USB port.
The technical specifications of Honor Band 5i, on the other hand, include a 0.96-inch color TFT display with 160×80 pixel resolution (0.95″ 240×240 pixel on Band 5), capacitive home button, display of 30 characters at a time, a 91mAh battery able to guarantee up to 9 days of usage with a single charge and water resistance up to 50 meters, there is also the possibility of measuring the levels of oxygen saturation in the blood and monitoring of the heart rate TruSeen 3.5.

Honor Band 5i will be sold in China starting November 1st in Meteorite Black, Olive Green and Coral Pink colors at a price of CNY 159 – $22.45. The product is already available for pre-order at Vmall store in China.
