Honor 9X Pro With 6.59-inch FHD+ Display, Triple Rear Camera, 8GB RAM Launched

Along with the Honor 9X, Huawei’s Honor brand has also announced the Honor 9X Pro smartphone in China. It is a mid-range device comes with a 6.59-inch no-notch display, up to 8GB RAM, Triple Rear Cameras, side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and 4000mAh battery.

Honor 9X Pro Price and Availability

The Honor 9X Pro price in China starts from CNY 2,199 – approximately $319 for the 8GB RAM with 128GB storage version, and the top-end 8GB RAM with 256GB storage version costs CNY 2,399 – approximately $348. It will be available for pre-order starting July 30th and goes on sale in China from August 9th. The device comes in Midnight Black and Phantom Blue color options.

Honor 9X Pro Specifications

The Honor 9X features a 6.59-inch 2.5D curved glass no-notch display with FHD+ (2340 x 1080 pixels) resolution, and 19:5:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by a 2.27 GHz octa-core processor which supported by Kirin 810 7nm Chipset with GPU Turbo 9.0, NINE liquid cooling technology and ARM Mali-G52 MP6 GPU. It packs an 8GB RAM with 128GB / 256GB storage, expandable memory up to 512GB with microSD.

On the camera front, the 9X Pro flaunts a triple camera setup: a 48-megapixel primary rear camera with 1/2″ sensor, 0.8μm pixel size, f/1.8 aperture, LED flash along with a 2-megapixel camera with f/2.4 aperture for capturing portrait shots and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide sensor with f/2.4 aperture. It features a 16-megapixel pop-up front camera with f/2.2 aperture.

The Honor 9X Pro has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and handset runs on Android 9.0 Pie -based on EMUI 9.1.1 out of the box. It packs a 4000mAh battery and supports dual SIM slot with dual standby. For connectivity includes Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.0 LE, GPS + GLONASS, USB Type-C. The device measures 163.1×77.2×8.8mm and weigh 206 grams.
