Huawei’s flagship smartphone, the Honor 8, is now available at $349 after a flat discount of $50 during the Festive season in USA via Amazon and BestBuy online stores. The price cut is temporary and is applicable till the sale lasts.
Amazon is offering Midnight Black and Peral White color variants at a price of $349.54 and $349.98 respectively. If you want to buy a Sapphire Blue color model at $349.99, have to go through Bestbuy store.
To recall, Huawei launched the Honor 8 in August priced at $399.99, one of the main highlights of the device is a 12-megapixel dual rear camera with wide f/2.2 aperture, Laser Auto Focus, 6P lens and dual-tone LED flash. It has 1.25 micron pixel size and it promises extraordinary image quality in low-light photography. Front has an 8-megapixel selfie shooter with a large f/2.4 aperture and wide angle lens for better group selfies and high quality video chatting.
The Huawei Honor 8 features a 5.2-inch Full HD display, a pixel density of 423ppi, 2.5D curved glass, and it is powered by an Octa-core Kirin 950 (Quad 2.3 GHz A72 + Quad 1.8 GHz A53) 16nm processor clubbed with Mali T880-MP4 GPU; 4GB LPDDR4 of RAM and 32 GB of native storage, which can be further expanded up to 128GB with the help of microSD card.
The device runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow-based on EMUI 4.1 UI and there is a Fingerprint sensor at back panel as well. It packs in a 3000mAh battery along with Quick Charge 2.0 Technology. For connectivity, includes dual SIM 4G LTE, 3G, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, A-GPS, NFC, USB Type-C and 3.5 mm audio jack options. It measures 145.5 x 71 x 7.5 mm and weighs 153 grams.
Apart from the discount on the Honor 8 Phone, the Bestbuy is also offering $100 off on Samsung Galaxy S7 edge Unlocked US model, priced at $669.99, while the Amazon store listed it at $602 for an international model in Black Oynx and Platinum Gold color variants.
