Honor has published a new teaser on Weibo announcing the new release date of Honor 7A. It is a new smartphone will come under budget segment from the Chinese company that will be announced next April 2nd, 2018.
To confirm this news, the manufacturer has sent out invites for an event to be held on April 2 where it will officially announce the handset. And the handset will be sold at a price lower than CNY 1,500 – approximately $238.
Huawei Honor 7A Specifications
Regarding the Huawei Honor 7A specifications, it will come with a dual camera setup: 13-megapixels rear camera with LED flash, f/2.2 aperture, secondary 2-megapixels rear camera and an 8-megapixels front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture and LED flash along with the face recognition technology.
Additionally, there appear to be two speakers embedded in the handset as well. Honor 7A will be equipped with a rear fingerprint sensor, Bluetooth, and Dual SIM connectivity. It will sport a 5.7-inch HD+ (720 x 1440 pixels) 2.5D curved glass display and come with 2GB RAM with 16GB internal storage or 3GB RAM with 32GB storage, expandable memory up to 256GB with microSD card slot.
Interestingly, the device is expected to be powered by the 1.4GHz octa-core Snapdragon 430 processor coupled with Adreno 505 GPU, similar to the Huawei Y7 Prime 2018 that the company just launched. It will pack a 3000mAh battery. It will come with Android 8.0 Oreo with EMUI 8.0 out-of-the-box. It measures 152.4 x 73 x 7.8mm and weighs 150 grams.
