ViewSonic began selling the gaming monitor 240Hz called XG2431, preliminary information on which appeared in January this year. Now the developer has fully disclosed the characteristics of the panel and named its price.
The 240Hz gaming monitor is built on a 24-inch IPS matrix with a resolution of 1920 × 1080 pixels (Full HD format). The brightness of 350 cd/m2, static contrast ratio is 1000: 1, and dynamic contrast ratio is 80,000,000: 1. The HDR400 monitor has a refresh rate of 240 Hz and a response time of 1 ms. Viewing angles horizontally and vertically – up to 178 degrees.
The panel is intended for use as part of gaming systems. AMD FreeSync Premium technology is responsible for improving the smoothness of the image, and ViewMode tools provide optimal settings for games of different genres – real-time strategy (RTS), first-person shooter (FPS), and multiplayer online arena battles (MOBA).
The equipment includes stereo speakers with a power of 3W each. There are two HDMI 1.4 connectors, a DisplayPort interface, a USB hub, and a standard 3.5mm audio jack. With the help of the stand, you can adjust the angles of inclination and rotation of the display, as well as change the height concerning the table surface.
