Just recently we published about the new Elephone Smartphone called Elephone M2, but now we got another latest information that the Elephone will expand their M Series by introducing a new line of premium devices – named Elephone M1. In fact, it is quite bold attempt from the smartphone manufacturer to enter high-end smartphone segment.
The Elephone M1 will receive a sturdy full metal body and curved edges 2.5D design and premium materials. It features a 5.5-inch display with Full-HD resolution, it will be powered by a 64-bit Quad-core MediaTek MT6735 processor with a clocked at 1.3GHz and coupled with a 3GB of RAM and 16GB of inbuilt storage, which will allow to expand memory via MocroSD card.
The Elephone M1 Mobile features a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and 5-megapixel front snapper for video calling and selfies. However, regarding to the battery, it will feature only 2500mAh battery. This Elephone M1 runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS with the company’s own ELE UI. There is also news that the device will supports USB Type-C port.
So far, we did not see any new features or options in it to give tough competitions to its competitors, at the moment we have to wait for its official announcement which held in September. However, as a decisive trump card is the price of the device, if Elephone Phones will seriously try to compete with the other budget segment devices.
