Devialet has introduced a brand new BT speaker that can also be used on the go thanks to the integrated battery and Bluetooth. With a total of six drivers and an output power of 176 watts, the wireless portable speakers Bluetooth Devialet Mania is said to achieve a volume of 95 dB even in battery mode.
With the Mania BT speaker, Devialet has introduced a new portable speaker that can be used on the go for up to ten hours thanks to the integrated 3,200 mAh battery. With a weight of 2.3 kilograms and an integrated handle, the Mania can be easily transported, but compared to mobile speakers from the competition, the newcomer from Devialet is not particularly compact.
The futuristic housing accommodates six loudspeakers – four full-range aluminum drivers, each with its own 25-watt class D amplifier, and two woofers with an output power of 38 watts each. Devialet packs a total of 176 watts of amplifier power into the mobile speaker, which is said to achieve a volume of 95 dB (SPL at a distance of 1 meter). Devialet promises a 360-degree sound that automatically adapts to the speaker’s surroundings thanks to four integrated microphones.
An IPX4 certification protects the speaker from water splashes. Content can be transmitted wirelessly to the Devialet Mania, either via Apple AirPlay 2, Spotify Connect, or via Bluetooth 5.0, with only AAC and SBC being supported. The wireless portable speaker can be controlled remotely via the accompanying Devialet app. The Mania cannot be configured as a stereo pair, multi-room systems can only be implemented via AirPlay.

The Devialet Mania BT speaker can now be pre-ordered from the Amazon.com and Bhphotovideo.com websites. The model in silver or black costs $790 each, and the “Opéra de Paris” edition with golden accents costs $990. The wireless charging station costs an additional $80.
