Dell has introduced the UltraSharp U3824DW, a 38″ curved Dell monitor with a USB hub and KVM capabilities, along with DisplayPort and HDMI support. While it may not have the highest resolution, this curved 38-inch monitor offers a larger screen diagonal for an immersive viewing experience.

The new Dell monitor curved 38-inch model features a maximum resolution of 3,840 x 1,600 pixels (WQHD+) in a 21:9 aspect ratio, with a refresh rate of 60 Hz. The IPS panel boasts a contrast ratio of 2,000:1 and a typical brightness of 300 cd/m². The Dell widescreen curved monitor can display 1.07 billion colors, covering 100 percent of the sRGB color space, as well as 98 percent of the DCI-P3 and Display P3 color spaces. The manufacturer specifies the response time as a minimum of 5 ms.

In terms of connectivity, the 38″ curved Dell monitor offers ample options, including one DisplayPort and two HDMI ports. Additionally, it has two USB Type-C ports for the USB-C hub with four USB Type-A ports, a network port with 2.5 Gbit/s, and an audio connection. The monitor not only supports charging a laptop with up to 90 W but also facilitates simultaneous connection to two devices with KVM, Picture-in-Picture (PiP), and Picture-by-Picture (PbP) capabilities.

Moreover, the monitor is equipped with two 9-watt speakers and mounted on a flexible base that allows for inclination adjustment (-5°/+21°), height adjustment (up to 120 mm), and rotation by +/-30 degrees. Alternatively, it can be mounted on a VESA mount.
