Dell introduced the Latitude 5285 2-in-1 laptop ahead of the CES 2017, announced via the official press release. The Dell Latitude 5285 is a portable 2 in 1 laptop which offers ultimate mobility, and is designed to be powerful, secure and last all day. 
The design of the Latitude 5285 is quite inspired by the ultra convertible Surface series of Microsoft, it’s complete with a built-in auto-deploy kickstand on the back, including the optional keyboard along with stylus pen, and its weight is around 1.23kg
The touch screen display size is 12.3-inches Full-HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) resolution, aspect ratio of 3:2, and protected by the Corning Gorilla Glass. There is a choice of seventh-generation Intel Core processors (with U Dual Core or vPro options) coupled with Intel HD Graphics 620. The base variant comes with 4GB of 1866MHz LPDDR3 RAM, which expanding up to 16GB of RAM.
New Dell 2 in 1 Laptops mainly directed to companies – which can make the most sensible choice to include a display with a lower resolution than the Surface Pro 4, a direct competitor. The range will also include options for LTE and WiGig, along with support for fingerprint scanner.
Other Dell Latitude 5285 specifications including Windows 10 OS, storage options up to 256GB M.2 SATA SSD, up to 1TB PCIe NVMe M.2 SSD, or up to 512GB PCIe OPAL M.2 SED. For camera, there is an 8-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. For ports, including 2 x USB Type-C ports, 1 x USB 3.0 port, 1 x microSD card reader, 1 x Micro-SIM slot (for selected models), and an extra port for the travel keyboard.
The Dell Latitude 5285 2-in-1 tablet sports Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v4.1, stereo speakers with Waves MaxxAudio Pro processing. It also offers an optional FIPS 201 Smartcard reader, touch Fingerprint reader, contactless SC Reader/NFC, Control Vault 2.0 Advanced Authentication with FIPS 140-2 Level 3 Certification, TPM2.0 FIPS 140-2 Certified, TCG Certified, as well as optional DellData Protection and Management Software.
It measures 292 x 208.8 x 9.76mm, and weighs less than 910 grams. For battery, there are option of a 31.5Whr or 42Whr battery, alongside the choice of a 45W or 65W adapter. Dell Latitude 5285 prices in USA starting from $899 and will be available from 28th, February 2017.
