Roborock has sent its best cleaning robot mop S8 MaxV Ultra on sale. The innovative robot vacuum self-empty and mop model with numerous new features is available now in the US via Amazon. A variant with a water connection is also available for the first time.
In addition to the new option of fixed water installation and the resulting significantly smaller cleaning station and even less effort, the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra also comes with various other innovations. The new FlexiArm Design side brush moves out of the round housing when necessary, enabling complete corner cleaning.
Roborock’s new flagship also provides edgeless mopping, which other models such as the Roborock Qrevo MaxV offer with an extendable mop, but here with an additional small mop on the edge of the device (Extra Edge Spinning Mop System). The DirTect Smart Sensor technology detects particularly dirty areas and wipes them again.
The VibraRise 3.0 wiping system, the DuoRoller Roser brush, and a suction power of 10,000 Pa round off the cleaning features of the new Roborock flagship. LiDAR and the Reactive 2.0 AI obstacle detection system carry out navigation. You can also use the camera for live videos on the smartphone.
In addition to its voice assistant Hello Rocky, the extensive RockDock Ultra cleaning station has also received several improvements. It detects the degree of dirt, cleans the mop with 60 °C hot water, then dries it, and can now also add cleaning agents in doses.
