Along with the BenQ GW2490, the Taiwanese company BenQ lists a new IPS eye care monitor with the GW2790. The 27-inch Benq eyecare monitor has an IPS panel, a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels (FHD) at up to 100 Hz, and covers 99 percent of the sRGB color space.
In addition, 82 PPI, 250 cd/m² typical brightness, 5 ms response time (grey to gray), and a 1300:1 contrast ratio are promised. This new Benq stylish monitor also has two internal 2-watt speakers.
On the interface side, HDMI 1.4, DisplayPort 1.2, and a headphone output are available. In terms of ergonomics, thanks to the tilt, VESA mount (100 x 100 mm), blue light filtering, and flicker-free backlight, hardly anything is left to be desired. The manufacturer has also thought of a color mode.
The BenQ GW2790 weighs 4.50 kg and measures 384 x 612 x 64 mm (W x H x D) without the stand. According to the datasheet, the typical power consumption is 25 watts.
