Bang & Olufsen has launched the Piano Black color limited edition of the BeoSound 1 speakers. Technically the product is absolutely identical to the model already on the market. The speaker, made of aluminum, measures 32.7 x 16.2 cm and weighs 3.5 kilograms. Inside it is housed a battery capable of ensuring between 4 to 16 hours of playback time (depending on the volume level).
The sound is diffused at 360° through a 3.8 cm full-range transducer and a 10.16 cm woofer. Both are driven by Class D amplifiers with a power of 40W for the full-range transducer and 20W for the woofer. The frequency response is between 35Hz and 24kHz.
BeoSound 1 integrates Wi-Fi dual-band, Bluetooth 4.1 and supports Google Cast, AirPlay, and DLNA. By connecting to the network you can access Deezer, Spotify, and TuneIn. Compatible file types include MP3, WMA, AAC, ALAC, FLAC, WAV, and AIFF. The maximum sampling rate that BeoSound 1 can handle is 192kHz / 24-bit.
The BeoSound 1 Piano Black Limited Edition will be available for a limited period of time at a price of EUR 1,295.
