Bang & Olufsen introduced its first soundbar – Beosound Stage. The dimensions are 110 x 17 x 7.7 cm with a weight of 8 kilograms. The B and O soundbar is made with an aluminum frame and features a natural aluminum, bronze or smoked oak finish. On the front, there is a Kvadrat fabric cover. Beosound Stage can be placed on a floor or wall.
Inside it there are three 1.9 cm tweeters, four full-range 3.81 cm midrange and four 10.16 cm woofers. The Bang Olufsen products are entrusted to 11 Class D amplifiers capable of delivering 50W for tweeters, midrange, and woofers. The configuration obtained is 3-channel with a central channel to optimize speech reproduction. Sound processing is entrusted to a DSP that allows you to select various pre-set modes: TV, Music, Movie, Night Listening or no equalization. Through the application for mobile devices, you can also take advantage of the ToneTouch function that allows you to set other modes based mainly on moods.
Beosound Stage supports audio tracks in Dolby Atmos and Dolby TrueHD. Connectivity includes Bluetooth 4.2, dual-band Wi-Fi802.11ac, an Ethernet port, an HDMI input and output with eARC (enhanced Audio Return Channel, improved audio return channel), an analog stereo input on RCA and an analog input on a 3.5 mm jack. The features of a Chromecast and AirPlay 2 support are also included in this Bang and Olufsen sound system. Compatibility with BeoLink Multiroom is also available for multi-room management.
Beosound Stage will be available from the end of autumn with the following prices: EUR 1,500 for the Aluminum or Bronze and EUR 2,250 for Smoked oak version.
