Audio Technica has launched the ATH-M50xBT Bluetooth Headphones. The new Over-Ear is based on the ATH-M50x wired headphones and weighs 310 grams.
The sound is generated by 45 mm large-aperture drivers combined with magnets and voice CCAW (Copper-Clad Aluminum Wire) coils. The technical specifications show a frequency response between 5 Hz and 28 kHz, a sensitivity of 99 dB / mW and an impedance of 38 ohms.
Wireless connectivity uses Bluetooth 5.0 with A2DP, AVRCP, HFP, HSP, aptX, AAC and SBC. On one of the ear-cup has a button to control music playback and a touch surface. Touching it you can activate Siri and Google Assistant. Obviously, there is a microphone to make or receive calls.
Audio Technica promises a sound performance similar to those of the ATH-M50x and an excellent isolation from a noisy environment. The integrated battery guarantees up to 40 hours of operation. There is a 30cm USB cable for charging, a 3.5 mm jack cable to connect non-Bluetooth sources and a carrying case included in the box.
Audio Technica ATH-M50xBT Bluetooth Headphones has been priced at $199 and it is already available to buy on Amazon.
