The Atlas Orion 18mm T2 2x cine lens offers the wide anamorphic angle of any lens of its type in the world. The minimum focusing distance is 45.75 cm.

The horizontal viewing angle of 140 degrees is the widest among all those produced for Cinemascope 35mm format cameras. This method achieves a 2.40:1 aspect ratio.

The second cine lens, the Atlas Orion 135mm T2.2 2x, allows you to get close-ups. This lens weighs 3.99 kg (this is a fairly large cinema lens) and has a minimum focusing distance of 106 cm. The lens allows shooting with an aspect ratio of 2.40:1 in full frame mode on both film and digital cameras.

The third cine lens announced by Atlas Lens company is the Atlas Orion 200mm T2.2 2x. It weighs 4 kg and has a minimum focusing distance of 106 cm.

This cine lens covers full frame, wide format (LF), or VistaVision on both film and digital cameras. By adding the Atlas 1.4x extender, it increases to 280mm, or up to 320mm when combined with the 1.6x extender.

The new cinema optics will join the famous Atlas Lens line: 21mm, 25mm, 32mm, 40mm, 50mm, 65mm, 80mm, and 100mm. In the Atlas Lens Co. series, Orion uses a true front anamorphic group. They have vintage optical characteristics and cover slightly larger image circles than the S35.

Key Features:

  • The lenses come with a remarkable T2 aperture – and T2.2 for 135mm and 200mm focal lengths – offering excellent low-light performance and creative control over depth of field.
  • They possess a wide-angle field of view, managing geometric distortion effectively.
  • Featuring an interchangeable mounting system inclusive of exclusive PL/EF mounting options, they allow universal compatibility.
  • The optical performance is exceptional, combining modern mechanics and a vintage aesthetic.
  • Distinguishable by their blue streaks, the lenses offer artistic barrel distortion and minimal chromatic aberration.
  • The versatile PL/EF mount is suitable for use across professional cinema cameras and mirrorless systems.
