LG UltraGear 32GS95UE 4K HDR OLED monitor with 240Hz and 0.03ms

As 2023 drew to a close, we covered the launch of LG’s new OLED gaming monitors, notably the 32GS95UE. Subsequently, LG has launched an official product page for this model, detailing specifications and pricing. Consequently, let’s delve into the key features of what is considered the best 4K HDR OLED monitor.

LG 32GS95UE best 4K HDR OLED monitor

The 31.46-inch monitor features the latest WOLED panel technology, which promises enhanced text display similar to the current QD-OLEDs. It also boasts a considerable increase in typical brightness, at 275 cd/m², a rating far higher than previous LG OLED models. Interestingly, this level of brightness is identical to the LG UltraGear 27GS95QE, a model that’s been on the market for several weeks.

The 32GS95UE’s specs also list 10-bit color depth, a 0.03 ms gray change, 98.5 percent DCI-P3, and a contrast ratio of 1,500,000:1. To enjoy games without ugly image tearing, both FreeSync Premium Pro and G-Sync-compatible Adaptive Sync are on board. Thanks to the dual Hz function, you also have the choice between native 4K (3840 x 2160 pixels) at 240 Hz and Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) at 480 Hz.

Gaming functions such as an FPS display, a black stabilizer, and a crosshair overlay can be controlled or activated via OSD. If there are several connected devices, Auto Input Switch saves unnecessary trips to the monitor menu but switches the signal inputs independently. If you like consuming HDR content, you can look forward to DisplayHDR True Black 400.

Price and release date

LG 32GS95UE offers versatile positioning with rotation, tilt, height adjustment, and pivot capabilities and VESA mount (100 x 100 mm). It is available for purchase on Bhphotovideo.com at a price of $1,299.99 and on Amazon.co.uk for £1,299.99.

Speakers, including woofers behind the OLED panel, aim to deliver immersive audio, termed by LG as “Pixel Sound.” Meanwhile, the headphone output offers an HRTF process via DTS Headphone:X, which can be used to create binaural surround sound even with normal stereo headsets. Other interfaces include two HDMI 2.1 inputs, a DisplayPort 1.4, and a USB 3.0 hub.
