With the Zowie XL2566X+, BenQ presents a gaming monitor for esports to display movements even sharper than OLED screens, for which BenQ uses a new 400Hz panel with DyAc 2 technology. The Auto Game Mode automatically adjusts the colors for different games.
The brand new BenQ Zowie XL2566X Plus is designed to impress with its speed, as BenQ uses a 24.1-inch Fast TN panel that achieves a frame rate of 400 Hz. According to BenQ’s marketing, the Zowie e sports monitor achieves the best motion clarity in the industry.
BenQ’s DyAc-2 technology minimizes ghosting and motion blur by intelligently controlling the backlight. Additionally, BenQ reports that the new Fast-TN panel enhances color accuracy, covering 98% of the sRGB color space.
The Auto Game Mode seamlessly switches between various color modes based on the content displayed on the monitor. Additionally, the Zowie TN panel delivers a full-surface brightness of 320 nits, a contrast ratio of 1,000:1, and a resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels, all with a pixel density of 91 PPI.
To fully utilize the 400 Hz refresh rate, you must connect the screen to a gaming PC via DisplayPort 1.4, since the three HDMI 2.0 ports only support up to 240 Hz. Additionally, when used with a PlayStation 5 or an Xbox Series X, the official esports monitor is limited to 120 Hz. Furthermore, the stand provides height adjustment and a 15.5-centimeter tilt. Alternatively, you can mount a monitor arm using a 100 x 100 VESA bracket.
