Zotac introduced a new version of the VR Go at the Consumer Electronics Show. This relies on a new graphics card, and a slightly changed material should also offer greater comfort.
New Zotac VR backpack has been offering a portable PC along with the corresponding backpack frame for some time, now the company has presented the next incarnation of the product. The new version uses a GeForce RTX 2070 from Nvidia (pricing starts from $499 on Amazon and Bhphotovideo) and a Core i7 processor from Intel that has not yet been named.
The main memory still measures up to 16GB, an M.2 SSD can be installed. Zotac promises improved cleaning by changing the material of the backpack, so the material should be able to withstand sweat better. The two batteries can be changed quickly during operation and can be played wirelessly without interruptions.
Currently, there is no information about the price or the exact availability of the GeForce RTX 2070 powered Zotac VR backpack, but you can grab the VR GO 2.0 with GTX 107 for $2,299 on Amazon.com.
