Zotac Magnus EK and ER series Mini Gaming PC Announced

Zotac officially introduces the new Magnus EK and ER series Mini gaming PC solutions that include desktop gaming systems in all respects in the space of a mini PC.

All new Zotac mini PCs use Intel Kaby Lake quad-core (EK) and AMD Ryzen (ER) processors, coupled with GeForce GTX 1060 and GTX 1070 graphics cards, obviously produced at home. Both mini PCs offer support for DDR4 RAM (SODIMM) memory, with a maximum capacity of 32GB and 2400MHz frequencies.

The new Zotac Magnus EK Series features a 7th Gen Intel Core quad-core processor based on the Kaby Lake architecture to deliver higher frequencies in speeds for a powerful gaming experience. Along with the new Intel Optane Memory that enables quick access times while allowing for larger storage capacities.

The new Zotac Magnus ER Series is the world first Mini PC Series that leverages an AMD Ryzen processor and dual storage capable (2.5-inch and M.2). Both include two USB 3.1 Gen2 ports doubling previous gen USB speeds for up to 10Gbps throughput, an HDMI 2.0 port, three DISPLAYPORT 1.4, and a DL-DVI video output.

As of now, Zotac has not talked about prices, but we expect quite high figures, especially if we look at the previous generation of Magnus Mini PCs, abundantly priced above $999.
