Zotac has announced its own gaming brand called “Zotac Gaming” aimed at gamers and in general for fans who are not satisfied with the classic desktop gaming systems.
And the first Zotac Gaming series product is the MEK1 gaming PC, a mini-PC solution that tries to contain the maximum dimensions while offering a refined design and a certain level of performance.
The Zotac MEK1 measures 414 x 118 x 393 mm, boasts a slim design with Zotac Spectra Lightning RGB backlighting and a 450W integrated SFX power supply.
The hardware configuration includes an Intel Core i7-7700 processor, 16GB of DDR4 RAM, GeForce GTX 1070 Ti graphics cards and storage department assigned to a 240GB NVMe SSD paired with a 1TB HDD.
Zotac MEK1 also able to run all of today’s AAA PC Gaming and VR titles with high resolution, and an Intel Core processor manufactured on a new 14nm process for perfect 4K/UHD gaming performance.
According to what Zotac says, the CPU is cooled by a low-profile heatsink, which should easily keep off a Core i7-7700, as you surely remember that cannot be overclocked. Finally, from the connectivity side, we mention WiFi AC, Dual Gigabit Ethernet, Bluetooth 4.2 and 8 USB ports (no USB 3.1 and Type-C).
As of now, Zotac Gaming has not announced the price of the MEK1, which should be available soon, in Black and White color variants, and in some variants that include a bundle with an optical mouse and mechanical gaming keyboard.
