The Bowers & Wilkins Zeppelin has been part of the British hi-fi specialist’s portfolio since 2006, back then as an iPod dock.Over the years, B&W has reissued its powered speakers several times, and now, for the first time, they’ve introduced the “Zeppelin Pro Edition.” At first glance, the 65-centimeter wide Zeppelin offers almost the same specifications as the latest revision of the regular Zeppelin BW.

The iconic Bowers & Wilkins Zeppelin (approx. $699 on Amazon) is being reissued as a Pro Edition. Despite the “Pro” designation, the price remains the same. The titanium tweeters and revised 150-millimeter subwoofer deliver better sound, while the new finish and LED lighting enhance the look.
B&W company is unveiling three key innovations. First, the speakers now come in two new finishes: black and gold. Second, you can adjust the customizable LED lighting through the Bowers & Wilkins Music app. Finally, Bowers & Wilkins has upgraded the sound system. While it still offers 240 watts of output power and a frequency range of 35 Hz to 24 kHz, it now features two new 25mm titanium tweeters, replacing the previous aluminum double dome tweeters.
Bowers & Wilkins redesigned the two 90-millimeter FST midrange speakers and the 150-millimeter subwoofer to reduce resonances, delivering more powerful and detailed sound. In the Pro Edition, the new Bowers and Wilkins powered speakers also feature no wired connections; you can only stream music wirelessly.
The speaker supports Bluetooth 5.0, including Qualcomm aptX Adaptive, Apple AirPlay 2, and numerous streaming services via the associated Bowers & Wilkins Music app, including Deezer, Qobuz, Tidal, and Spotify. Users can adjust the sound to their preferences using an equalizer.
